The Magic Item Cards Template is the base design from our Unique Magic Item Cards . We have converted it into a form-fillable PDF. You can use the Magic Item Cards Template to create your own unique cards. The PDF can also be used to create item cards for items that appear in the System Reference Document. Likewise, you can use it to create cards for items from published adventures and campaigns. Whether these are magic items or just unique, non-magical, items. You can even use the PDF to create cards that impart in-game information (similar to our Fifth Edition Condition Cards).

Giving out item cards like this is a great way to encourage player engagement. After all, most players like something physical in their hands. If you give out a card when a character receives a unique item, it seems more real. It also means that they are more likely to want to keep the item.
